Real-Time Updates

SendForm.live's real-time feature lets you see submissions the instant they arrive. No more refreshing pages or waiting for email notifications.

How It Works

When you open a form's submission page, SendForm.live establishes a WebSocket connection to our servers. This creates a live channel that pushes new submissions to your browser immediately.

The LIVE badge in your form header indicates the connection is active. If you see "Connecting...", the real-time connection is being established.

What Happens When Someone Submits

  1. User fills out and submits your form
  2. Submission is saved to the database
  3. You see it appear instantly in your dashboard
  4. The submission count updates automatically
  5. Sound plays (if enabled)
  6. Push notification appears (if enabled)

Benefits

  • Faster Response: Respond to leads while they're still engaged
  • No Refreshing: Leave the tab open and watch submissions come in
  • Instant Awareness: Know immediately when something needs attention
  • Live Demos: Great for showing forms to clients or team members

Connection Status

The LIVE badge shows your connection status:

  • LIVE (pulsing): Connected and receiving updates
  • Connecting...: Establishing connection

If you lose connection (e.g., network issues), SendForm.live will automatically reconnect when possible.

Browser Requirements

Real-time updates work in all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). No plugins or extensions required.
