Notifications
Never miss a submission with SendForm.live's notification options. Get alerted through sound, push notifications, or email.
Sound Notifications
Hear a pleasant chime whenever a new submission arrives. This is perfect when you have the dashboard open in a background tab.
Enabling Sound
- Open any form's submission page
- Find the Notification Settings card
- Toggle on Sound notification
This setting is saved per form, so you can have sound enabled for important forms and disabled for others.
Push Notifications
Receive browser notifications even when you're in a different tab or have the browser minimized.
Enabling Push Notifications
- Open any form's submission page
- Find the Notification Settings card
- Click Enable Push Notifications
- Allow notifications when your browser prompts
Troubleshooting
If push notifications aren't working:
- Check that your browser allows notifications (look for the bell icon in the address bar)
- Make sure your operating system allows notifications from your browser
- Some browsers block notifications in incognito/private mode
Email Notifications (Pro)
Pro users can receive an email for every submission. This is great for staying informed when you're away from the dashboard.
Enabling Email Notifications
- Go to your form's Settings
- Toggle on Email notifications
Emails are sent to the address associated with your account.
What's in the Email
Each notification email includes:
- Subject line with your form name (e.g., "New submission on Contact Form")
- All submitted fields displayed in a clear table format
- Field labels you defined (not technical IDs)
- Timestamp showing when the submission was received
Example Email
Here's what a typical notification looks like:
